Restrictions Update - NT Borders

The Northern Territory has recently, on the 17th July 2020, opened the borders for interstate travel. There have been reports of an upsurge in travel to the NT following this easing of restrictions. Whilst there are currently only one active case throughout the Top End, adequate hygiene practices and social distancing are still paramount in ensuring the public safety of all Territorians.

We are closely monitoring the developments interstate and we remind everyone to be vigilant regarding any travel. With new rules and processes being implemented at the State/Territory level, pre-planning your travel is now a must to ensure your health and well-being and also to maintain the safety of the public as a whole. Changes can occur to restrictions and named hot spots in very short periods of time, please maintain your awareness if planning to travel.

We understand that members from across many age groups and walks of life have been impacted by the global pandemic. We encourage members who are adversely impacted by the ongoing pandemic to contact your strata manager and advise of your current situation, where needed.

Levy contributions are the primary, and often only, source of income for Body Corporates and each Body Corporate has their own approach to supporting their members through these difficult times. North Management enforce arrears policies on behalf of the Body Corporates. Please note there are payment plan options available for owners who are in demonstrated financial hardship.

We provide assistance in calculating the appropriate amount for your levy contributions by way of ensuring the total of each individual payment will cover existing amount owing plus we take into account upcoming levies in the future. This is critical to ensure that at the end of the payment plan an owners account is balanced.
